Wining by the Sea

(page 1 of 1)Two things I love to do: drink wine and talk movies.
Last night it was with Josh Tate (writer of Empty) and Rick Hack (producer of The Amazing Kreskin) at Primitivo. Be sure to try the 2004 Araucano from Chile, a well-structured cabernet with silky tannins and strong hints of blackberry ($9). If you want something spicier, try the 2004 Four Sisters Shiraz from Australia ($10). The tannins are stronger, but the finish is long and smooth. As the wine flowed, we hatched a plan for our next project. Who will play the lead? Perhaps our server, Aaron, a ringer for Billy Zane. Ah, casting! My favorite part of the process! Speaking of which, the casting office behind Primitivo ensures a steady diet of celebrities sipping wine on the back garden patio. Was that Fiona Apple?
