The dame starts her gig off with a bang at the start, and transverses a non stop one hour flight of insights into stark vivid jailbird characters from her hours of volunteer advocacy work at the Los Angeles County Jail. Her poignant sadness when she loses her clients such as when her assigned prostitute is released and she is promised another one is hilarious and endearing. Prison guards and the plethora of human contained despair is rendered in rich visual detail that the memories of her performance burn for hours after the theater doors close. This true comedienne is beyond funny, she is blessed with genius.
