Site Description: A nonprofit organization dedicated to helping LA residents whose lives are affected by HIV. APLA’s mental-health-services program offers short-term and long-term psychotherapy. Trained clinicians work from a variety of theoretical orientations. Services are provided in both English and Spanish, with an emphasis on cultural sensitivity.

Clientele: Individuals, couples and groups; Assistance in Spanish available

Diagnostic Categories: Affective disorders, behavioral disorders, anxiety disorders, parent-child conflicts, substance-abuse disorders, problems functioning in school, home- and community-based mental-health disorders.

Site Description: Founded to strengthen Asian American families by providing emotional healing and education to individuals and families to restore broken relationships and provide guidance for positive personal change.
