Musical Duo Nuttin But Stringz brings a new element to Hip Hop.
I love hip-hop. But I have to admit that I have to join the long line of disapproval that has been piling up in hip hop’s complaint box. Why do so many rappers glorify the gang lifestyle? The laundry list goes on and on. So when I was watching Jay Leno the other day I was pleasantly surprised when I saw these two young brothas rappin and playing the violin at the same time. I couldn’t believe my ears! It was dope. They coincidentally are real life blood brothers who started playing in the subways and made it to the point of getting a large enough fan base in NY for them to blow up. Their whole m.o. is to bridge the gap between classical and popular music. Finally, someone doing something different and still keeping it real at the same time. All I’m saying is if it’s a trend I hope it stays around for awhile. It’s about time some new ideas starting circulating through out hip hop game. Cause all that gansta rap is just played. Let’s hear it for someone elevating the black music scene above the typical b.s. we hear on radio stations and evoke some element of creativity that doesn’t insult the masses or our intelligence.

Best roll models for thousands of youths. To see success in education and music is a wonderful thing. The quality of education and personal skill of Damien and Tourie, will serve them for a lifetime.
