Farmers Markets are the key to organic food on a budget.
For those who are interested in organic but don’t want to break the bank, the best bet is to check out any one of the dozens of farmers markets available in LA. The organization SEE-LA, a private non-profit org. that helps promote sustainability of local farmers and promote nutritional outreach programs for local residents. With new farmers markets in Echo Park, Leimert Park, South LA and of course Hollywood they are helping to bring a more evolved food awareness to the various communities of Los Angeles. They soon will be opening “The Farmers Kitchen” a farm fresh café at the Hollywood Farmers Market.
