My Homegirl's Bomb Ass Salsa Recipe!

So I'm sick and tired of everyone and their mother coming over and complimenting my roommate's homemade salsa and not giving two sh$#s about my house cleaning, but nonetheless..

Here’s the recipe you’ve all been waiting for:

Salsa Serrana By Liz “EQ” Quintero

3 Roma tomatoes 1 Serrano pepper (or 2 if you really like it hot) 1 clove garlic 1 tsp. salt

On a medium-low heated skillet with a piece of foil over it, place tomatoes and chiles. You know its cooking when it starts to vibrate. Turn chiles over first, then tomatoes when they start to get a little black.

Remove stem(s) of chile(s) and place in a blender. Add garlic clove and blend together. Add tomatoes gradually one at a time. Add salt. Blend.

So simple, yet so good!

Best enjoyed with refried beans, carne asada y una cerveza!
